Custom Domain Setup

For standalone deployments, follow these steps to point your desired domain or subdomain (e.g., chat.example.com) to your AI Twin.

Step 1: Add DNS Records

If you’d like your AI Twin hosted on your own domain, you can use either a main domain (e.g. yourbrand.com) or a subdomain (e.g. chat.yourbrand.com). To set this up, add the required DNS record for the domain or subdomain you choose through your domain provider. Please add one (domain or subdomain) of the following DNS records:

Domain

The unique, registered address for your website (e.g., example.com, example.ai)

Subdomain:

An extension or subsection of your main domain (e.g., chat.example.com, ai.example.com).

Step 2: Notify Steno

Once the DNS records are added, let us know at support@steno.ai so we can verify the connection.

Step 3: Finalization

Once DNS is verified, your custom domain will be connected to your AI Twin and ready to use.

Troubleshooting
