Embedding Your AI Twin

Your AI Twin can be embedded on most websites and platforms, giving your users seamless access to AI-powered conversations.

Deployment Options

Option 1: Standalone Web App (Primary)

Host your AI Twin on a dedicated URL—either on your own domain (e.g., yourdomain.com) or a subdomain (e.g., chat.yourdomain.com). This is the primary deployment option for most customers, giving you full control over the experience.

Option 2: Embedded Web App

Embed your AI Twin directly on your existing website or platform via a simple script or iframe. Works with most modern website builders and platforms.

Option 3: SDK Integration

Use our SDK (Basic or Plus tier based on your plan) to embed your AI Twin directly into any digital environment with full control over the look and feel. Learn more about the SDK.

Option 4: Native Mobile App

Launch a branded native iOS and Android app for your AI Twin. Available as an add-on or included with Enterprise. Learn more about mobile apps.

Supported Platforms

Fully Supported (Embed Script)

These platforms support embedding via iframe or HTML block:

Custom Websites: Any site with HTML/JavaScript access
WordPress: Via HTML block or custom code
Squarespace: Via Code Block
Webflow: Via Embed element
GoHighLevel: Via Custom HTML/JS widget (See integration guide)
Mighty Networks: Via custom code (See integration guide)
Circle: Via custom code or embed
Wix: Via HTML iFrame/Embed element

Limited Support (Direct Link)

These platforms have restrictions on third-party embeds. Use the direct link approach:

Skool: Share the direct link in your community
Thinkific: Add the direct link to course materials
Teachable: Link from course pages
Kajabi: Can use webhooks for authentication (See integration guide)

How Embedding Works

Step 1: Get Your Embed Code

In your dashboard at dashboard.steno.ai , navigate to the embeds section:

Select the Positions (right, left, center) and Mode (bubble or fullscreen)
Get your unique embed script
Follow the instructions to test whether your code is working correctly.

Step 2: Add to Your Website

Once your embed code is working correctly, insert it into your target website just before the closing </body> tag. You can re-configure the appearance of your AI Twin through your dashboard settings. Your AI Twin can appear as:

A chat widget (typically bottom-right corner)
A full-page experience
An inline embedded component

Step 3: Test & Go Live

Test the embedded AI Twin to ensure:

It loads correctly on your site
Voice and text modes function properly
The styling matches your brand

Custom Integrations

WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack

Direct integrations with third-party messaging apps are not available out-of-the-box. However, the SDK allows you to build custom integrations to deploy your AI Twin into almost any platform or application.

API & Zapier (Coming Soon)

Connect your AI Twin to automation tools through API and Zapier integrations. Common use cases:

Trigger actions based on AI Twin conversations
Sync user data to your CRM
Send notifications when certain keywords are mentioned

Authentication Options

When embedding your AI Twin, you have several authentication options:

Integrate with your existing membership portal or login system. Users who are already logged into your platform will automatically have access to your AI Twin.

Option 2: Use Steno.ai Authentication

Let the platform handle the login process based on a list of approved user emails. Users will log in through the Steno.ai interface.

Option 3: Member Syncing

Use integrations with Kajabi, GoHighLevel, or Mighty Networks to automatically sync member access. Available on Growth plan and above.
