How to Connect Your Kajabi Account

This guide will walk you through setting up your Kajabi account to automatically grant access to our platform when a customer purchases your offer.

It will also explain the two methods for removing users: the standard manual sync and the automated API method available for Kajabi Pro users.

Part 1: Automatically Grant Access (User Purchases)

This method works for all Kajabi plans and will automatically add a user to the Steno Dashboard when they buy your offer.

Step 1: Get Your Unique Webhook URL

First, find your unique Webhook URL, which connects Kajabi to your account.

1. Log in to your Steno Dashboard
2. Navigate to Settings → Integrations
3. Copy your Unique Webhook URL. It will look similar to this:

   https://dashboard.steno.ai/api/webhooks/platform-sync/tok_...

Step 2: Add the Webhook to Kajabi

1. Log in to your Kajabi dashboard
2. Navigate to the Sales tab from the left-hand menu
3. Find the Offer you want to connect
4. Click the More Actions (⋯) menu next to the offer title and select Webhooks
5. You will see a single field labeled Purchase Webhook URL
6. Paste Your Unique Webhook URL (from Step 1) into this field
7. Click Save

That’s it! When a new user purchases this offer, Kajabi will now send a notification to our platform, and we will automatically create their account and grant them access.

Part 2: How to Remove a User (When They Cancel or Refund)

Kajabi’s simple Purchase Webhook does not send notifications for cancellations or refunds. Your method for removing users depends on your Kajabi plan.

Method 1: Manual Sync (For All Kajabi Plans)

This is the standard method for removing users. You must manually sync your user list to revoke access.

1. Go to your Kajabi Dashboard → Sales tab
2. Locate the Offer that provides chat access
3. Click the More Actions (⋯) menu next to the offer
4. Select your date range and click Export
5. Upload the exported .csv file into the Steno Dashboard to sync all user access updates

Method 2: Automatic Removal (For Kajabi Pro Plan Only)

If you have the Kajabi Pro Plan (the ~$400/month plan), you have access to Kajabi’s full APIs. This allows for a more advanced integration that can automatically remove users when they cancel.

This is a custom setup that is different from the simple webhook in Part 1.
