Integrating Your Twin Into an Existing Platform

Scenario

Sometimes our customers need their Twin to have context of an existing user’s journey through a platform or course, so that the Twin can answer user questions about the content or perform other actions.

For these scenarios, we recommend providing us with a video screen recording, during which you walk through the user journey and describe what the Twin should do each step of the way. This video serves as the “blueprint” for your Twin’s behavior. You will act as a new user, walking through your entire site or application flow, and explaining exactly what the Twin should do (and not do) at every step.

We’ll then take the transcript of this video and use it to train your Twin perfectly.

How to Create Your AI’s “Platform Map” Video

To be a helpful guide, your AI needs a “mental map” of your website or platform. The best way to create this map is to record a video where you explain your platform as you would to a new team member.

Since the AI cannot see the user’s screen, this video is its only source of truth. When a user tells the AI where they are, the AI will use the knowledge from this video to provide accurate help.

What You’ll Need

  • A screen recording tool (Loom, QuickTime, etc.)
  • A working microphone
  • 15-30 minutes

Your 2-Part Recording Guide

Please cover these two parts in your video.

Part 1: The Platform Map (The “Layout”)

Start with a high-level overview of your entire site or application. Click through every main page, tab, and navigation item.

As you show each page, state its name and purpose.

Example Narration:

“This is my main platform. There are 5 key areas.

  • The Home Page explains the program and directs them to sign up.
  • The ‘Modules’ Tab at the top is where all the video courses live.
  • The ‘Onboarding’ Tab is the first place new users go. This is where they fill out their questionnaire.
  • The ‘Community’ Tab links to our private group.
  • The ‘Billing’ Page is where they can manage their subscription.”

Part 2: Common User Journeys (The “Flows”)

Now, walk through the 2-3 most common paths your users take. Act as a new user and narrate the process.

This teaches the AI how to guide people through your system.

Example Narration:

“Most of my users come from my YouTube channel.

  1. They land on this sales page and click ‘Sign Up.’
  2. They go to the checkout page… a common question here is about our refund policy. The AI should know it’s a 30-day guarantee.
  3. After paying, they are sent to the ‘Onboarding’ page to fill out the questionnaire.
  4. Users often get stuck on Question 3 of the questionnaire. The AI should be able to explain that this question is optional.
  5. After the questionnaire, they land on the main ‘Modules’ dashboard.”

Final Step: Share Your Video

When you’re finished, please upload the video (e.g., .mp4, .mov) to a shared drive (like Google Drive or Dropbox) and send us the link. This “map” is the single most important piece of knowledge we will give your AI.
