Steno.ai offers a simple, credit-based subscription model designed to scale with your business.

Pricing Structure

Setup Fee

There is a one-time $5,000 setup and training fee, which we are currently waiving for new customers.

Monthly Subscription

Choose from our tiered plans based on your expected usage. All plans are non-negotiable and do not have discounts for yearly payment.

How Credits Work

A credit is the unit we use to measure usage of the AI.

Credit Breakdown

Text Interaction: 3 credits per message received by the AI
Voice Interaction: 10 credits per minute of conversation

Usage Estimation

For Recurring Engagement (e.g., members, students):

Budget approximately 100 credits per user per month.

Example: 500 users × 100 credits = 50,000 credits needed. You would need the Scale plan.

For Sales/Prospecting (e.g., website visitors):

Budget approximately 10 credits per user per month.

Example: 4,000 prospects × 10 credits = 40,000 credits needed. You would need the Growth plan.

Credit Overages

What Happens If I Go Over My Credits?

We will notify you when you are approaching your credit limit. You can then choose to:

Upgrade to the next tier for a better cost-per-credit value
Pay an overage fee for that month at a small, per-credit rate

Do Unused Credits Roll Over?

No, unused credits expire at the end of each subscription term and are non-refundable.

Commitment Terms

Minimum Commitment

All of our standard plans have a one-year (12-month) agreement term.

However, we provide flexibility for new customers with a 6-month minimum commitment. This means you have the option to opt out of your 12-month agreement for any reason by providing written notice within the first six months.

How the 6-Month Opt-Out Works

If you choose to exercise the opt-out option:

Your agreement will be set to terminate on your six-month anniversary date
You will be responsible for all subscription fees through that six-month period
You can continue to use the service until that date
No portion of the fees for this six-month minimum commitment is refundable

What Happens at the End of My 12-Month Agreement?

For your convenience, your 12-month agreement will automatically renew for another 12-month period unless you provide written notice of non-renewal at least thirty (30) days before the end of your current term.

If you exercise your 6-month opt-out right, the automatic renewal will not apply.

Custom Plans

Do You Offer Unlimited Usage?

We do not offer unlimited usage plans, as our costs are directly tied to usage. However, our Enterprise tiers can scale to accommodate millions of users.

Can I Get a Custom Plan?

If you have a specific need not met by the standard tiers, we can discuss a custom enterprise solution. Contact sales@steno.ai to discuss.
